Library Association (ALA) Honor Banned Books Week as part of
the 50 State Salute to Banned Books Week
VIRTUAL READ-OUT!
MLA’s Intellectual Freedom Committee invites you to join us in the
order to raise awareness of censorship. A video created by the
books, will be part of a YouTube
VIRTUAL READ-OUT celebrating the freedom to read. All libraries and individuals are encouraged to upload videos as part of this important initiative, which marks the 30th anniversary of Banned Books Week.
Banned Books Week is sponsored by the American Booksellers
