A Special Offer for Paralibrarians, Students, and Trustees!

The American Library Association offers the opportunity for some members to join both ALA and their state chapter at the same time.  MLA is one of a few chapters that offer joint memberships to students, paralibrairans and trustees.  You can learn more on the Joint ALA/MLA Membership Opportunities page.  With the new ALA notification system we will now get your membership much faster allowing you to take advantage of your MLA membership must faster than before.

Other Membership Benefits

MLA is working hard to increase the value that you receive with your membership. Here are just a few current projects:

Online Master’s in Library Science through Drexel - special rates for MLA members: MLA members receive a discount on distance education courses taken through Drexel University. An academic member currently taking advantage of this benefit says, “The generosity of the discount is definitely a factor in my decision to join MLA.” She is saving 20% on each course thanks to MLA!
